I recommend the 2008 Hall Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Hall Wines, owned by Kathryn and Craig Hall, has been on a remarkable streak under the direction of its President Mike Reynolds and his crack team. Make no mistake, this is a big league Cabernet Sav which can be had for $40 or so with careful shopping. This Napa wine is blended from grapes sourced by Hall in its Rutherford and St. Helena vineyards, the heart of Napa valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
